Difference frequency generation of mid-IR radiation using novel dual-wavelength all-fiber double-clad Er/Yb doped amplifier

Abstract

We report a DFG (Difference Frequency Generation) of 1.14 mW of mid-IR radiation using a novel all-fiber dual-wavelength amplifier (DWA). TDLAS detection of methane was carried out to elaborate the system performance.
