Abstract

Spatial-spectral holographic signal processing in cryogenically-cooled spectral-hole burning crystals allows modal-dispersion compensation of multiple orthogonally launched beams to enable wideband mode-group multiplexing and demultiplexing in spatially-multiplexed multimode fiber networks.
