Towards a Self-Referenced and Frequency-Stabilized Microresonator Frequency Comb

Abstract

We describe optical frequency combs based on four-wave mixing in laser-machined high-Q micro-resonators. Experiments aimed at frequency stabilization of the comb’s mode spacing and offset frequency are presented.
