Čerenkov-type second-harmonic generation spectroscopy of random nonlinear photonic structures

Abstract

We experimentally determine the averaged size of ferroelectric domains in random χ (2) structures. The spectrum of reciprocal grating vectors is retrieved by scanning the Čerenkov SH signal for different incident angles of the fundamental wave.
