A Scheme Allowing Synthesis and Characterization of Ultrafast Waveforms Using Coherent Raman Sidebands

Abstract

We propose a new scheme which allows synthesis and characterization of ultrafast waveforms using coherent Raman sidebands. We show that a deformable mirror may be used for fine phase adjustment.
