Abstract

We developed a library of novel chalcogenodiphenylphosphino- and phosphonato-substituted oligothiophenes exhibiting strong nonlinear optical (NLO) absorption in the violet-blue spectrum. Open-aperture Z-scans and multi-level modeling were performed to quantify the NLO absorption of these materials.
