Induced Magnetic Scattering in Non-Magnetic Solids

Abstract

Intense magnetic dipole scattering is induced in garnets and compared with dressed state theory of quadratic magneto-electric nonlinearities on L=0 to L=1 transitions of atoms/molecules, confirming important implications for energy conversion and high-frequency transverse magnetism.
