Ultrafast phase control of nano-scale non-linear optical responses

Abstract

We use phase shaped ultrafast pulses to induce and control two-photon excitations in nano-objects. Closed looped optimization of the two-photon photoluminescence in single quantum dot and selective excitation of single resonant plasmonic nano-antennas is demonstrated.
