Polarization Instability of Vector Raman Solitons in Supercontinuum Generation

Abstract

We numerically investigate polarization instability of Raman solitons in super-continuum generation as a function of input polarization and fiber birefringence. Polarization dynamics and separtrix are observed on the Poincaré sphere and depend on fiber birefringence.
