Coherent photon-phonon conversion in integrated circuits

Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate multiple conversions of information between the optical and acoustic domain. We show the coherent acousto-optic transfer by retrieving multiple amplitude and phase levels with GHz bandwidth and demonstrate multi-wavelength operation.
