Intensity-dependent speckle correlation in a disordered, second-order nonlinear medium

Abstract

We investigate speckle correlations in a χ(2)-nonlinear disordered medium. The frequency-doubled speckle decorrelates faster than the fundamental with increasing input power. Two theoretical models are developed for qualitative and quantitative agreement.
