Induced symmetry-breaking and polarization switching of spatial solitons through vector collision

Abstract

We experimentally study two types of interaction between vector and scalar spatial solitons in a Kerr planar waveguide and show the induced symmetry-breaking and polarization switching of vector solitons, respectively.
