Polychromatic Solitons and Symmetry Breaking in Modulated Waveguide Arrays

Abstract

We study theoretically and experimentally nonlinear symmetry breaking of polychromatic beams and formation of polychromatic solitons in periodically curved waveguide arrays. Our results demonstrate new possibilities for tunable spatial filtering of supercontinuum light.
