Surface Gap Solitons in Kerr Nonlinear Photonic Crystals with a Nonlinearity Interface

Abstract

We investigate stationary localized solutions of the Periodic Nonlinear Schroedinger Equation at a Kerr- nonlinearity interface, so-called Surface Gap Solitons. We present results about continuation and stability of families of SGS using the Evans function.
