Abstract
We report experimental and theoretical studies of spatio-temporal effects in arrays of nanosized silicon waveguides. Long wavelength Cherenkov radiation, which can be emitted only by solitons or quasi-soliton pulses and whose existence is sensitive to the precise excitations of the array has been measured experimentally and compared with theory.
