Parametric Cavity Polariton Solitons

Abstract

We review stable resting 1D bright cavity polariton solitons in semiconductor microcavities. These solitons exist due to phase-matched parametric mixing in cases where the product of dispersion and nonlinearity has the 'wrong' sign. Article not available.
