Guiding and Steering Light With Nanocolloids

Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate steering and guiding of a low power beam (633nm) by a light-induced waveguide created by self-focusing of a pump beam (532nm) in a nonlinear medium consisting of a suspension of dielectric nanoparticles.
