Abstract
Temporal splitting of chirped femtosecond pulses and the Laue soliton propagation under the dynamical Bragg diffraction in the Laue scheme in 1D porous quartz-based photonic crystals are studied theoretically and experimentally. We have observed the selective compression of frequency-modulated splitted pulses, i., the compression of either the fast Borrmann or slow anti-Borrmann pulses, depending on the sign of the input signal frequency modulation.
