Broadband Frequency Conversion of Ultrashort Laser Pulses using Surface Lattice Resonances in Plasmonic Metasurfaces

Abstract

We propose a metasurface-based method for nonlinear frequency conversion of ultrashort laser pulses. The method utilizes a temporal-focusing scheme and spatial dis-persion of surface lattice resonances to achieve nonlinear frequency conversion of a 100-nm-broad laser pulse.
