Nonlinear phase contrast imaging in neuronal tissue

Abstract

We demonstrate nonlinear phase contrast imaging in highly scattering media using rapid femtosecond pulse shaping of mode-locked laser pulses. We will also discuss potential applications of this technique for intrinsic functional neuronal imaging.
