X-ray Photon Sieves for Phase-contrast Microscopy

Abstract

A diffractive compound objective integrated the Zernike phase shift in an apodized photon sieve (ZAPS) is presented for high-resolution X-ray phase-contrast microscopy. The focusing properties of the ZAPS can be easily adjusted by pupil apodization.
