Abstract
We present a 4-D (x, y, z, λ) Image Mapping Spectrometer with structured illumination. Depth resolved fluorescence 48 (~ 5 nm sampling) spectral channel images of thick biological tissues were acquired with axial resolution of ~ 1 μm. This is the first demonstration of snapshot hyperspectral imaging technique IMS with capability of optical sectioning.
