Resolution Improvement in Nonlinear Photoacoustic Microscopy near Threshold

Abstract

We experimentally show a resolution improvement in photoacoustic imaging due to a threshold-type nonlinearity in the photoacoustic response. We quantify the resolution improvement and the associated noise.
