A Hyperspectral Microscope based on a Birefringent Ultrastable Common-Path Interferometer

Abstract

We introduce a Fourier-transform hyperspectral microscope based on an ultrastable birefringent interferometer. The microscope has broad spectral coverage, high resolution, high sensitivity and short acquisition time. We present two implementations, and examples in spectral imaging.
