Quasi-linear Relationship Between Phase Difference and Optical Path Length in Wide-field Interferometric Scattering Microscopy for Axial Localization of Single Particles

Abstract

We report quasi-linear phase change of the point spread function (PSF) against the axial location of single particles in wide-field interferometric scattering microscopy. Such a relationship was exploited for axial localization in numerical simulations.
