Single-Chip Coherent Transceivers for Optical Transport Networks

Abstract

This talk reports on state-of-the-art CMOS transceivers for high-rate (40 Gbps, 100 Gbps, and above) coherent optical transmission. The focus is on recent progress and near-term future trends for commercially available components.
