Fine Resolution Optical Processors for Sub-Channel Add-Drop Multiplexing

Abstract

Photonic spectral processors based on waveguide grating routers (WGR) having ~1GHz resolution are developed for flexible sub-band add/drop with an LCoS SLM. We describe the applications and methods for correcting the WGR’s phase errors.
