High-density Space Division Multiplexed Transmission over Multi-mode and Multi-core Fibers

Abstract

By employing compact multiplexers and advanced coding and multiple input multiple output equalization schemes, we demonstrate the viability of a high spatial channel multiplicity over multi-mode and/or multi-core fibers for high capacity transmission.
