Fast Evaluation of Nonlinear Noise Variance in Dynamic Mesh Optical Networks

Abstract

We propose a fast method based on the incoherent GN-model to evaluate the nonlinear noise variance in mesh optical networks, where WDM channels are dynamically added and dropped at various locations of the fiber link.
