An operator’s point of view on 5G X-Haul transport and P2MP applicability

Abstract

5G requires large amount of fibers because of high densities and co-existence with legacy generations. Existence of cell clusters enables large cost savings using P2MP infrastructure. Specific technology depends on RAN configuration and cell capacity.
