Abstract

We present power-efficient waveform generation and low-loss matched WDM optical filtering capabilities that can support a variety of time-frequency-based hybrid-orthogonal modulation options. When combined with photon-counting detection, robust and widely-extensible high-sensitivity performance can be achieved.
