Abstract

It is very important to get a high power pumping laser module to realize an effective Er-doped fiber amplifier[1]. In this paper, we describe a newly developed high-power pumping laser module with over 100mW output power at 1.48μm using a long cavity DC-PBH MQW-LD and a low aberration coupling lens. And a polarization maintaining fiber pigtail for duplication or redundancy is also described.
