Abstract

Various configurations of 1.45-µm Raman fiber laser pumped by double-clad Yb-doped fiber laser have been experimentally investigated and compared with respect to their power conversion efficiency. An output power of 1.9 W with 10 W power at 978 nm was achieved for four-step Raman conversion in a DSF fiber.
