Slope Compensating DCF for S-band Raman Amplifier

Abstract

S-band DCF suitable for DCRA was developed. It can compensate dispersion slope of SMF between 1470nm and 1500nm completely. The DCRA using this fiber compensates attenuation loss of transmission line with same pumping power as conventional DCF.
