Recent Progress on 14xx nm Pump lasers

Abstract

Advanced 14xx-nm-pump-lasers were demonstrated for next generation optical fiber amplifiers. Hybrid-pump with ultra high power and low-DOP (degree of polarization), and Inner-Grating-Multi-mode-laser (IGM-laser) with ultra low noise and reduced Stimulated-Brillouin-Scattering were described.
