Abstract

Highly efficient Four-Wave Mixing (FWM) using synchronous modulation with a single phase modulator (PM) is proposed and successfully demonstrated. Wavelength conversion and chromatic dispersion compensation using the Mid-Span Spectral Inversion (MSSI) technique by FWM are also demonstrated successfully.
