10GHz Tunable Slow Light in 1.3 μm Quantum Dot Vertical-Cavity Surface-Emitting Lasers Amplifier

Abstract

This investigation experimentally demonstrates tunable slow light by varying the bias currents in a 1.3 μm quantum dot vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser. The maximum delay of 42 ps at 10 GHz is achieved.
