Chaotic behavior of laser oscillation output in a ring cavity

Abstract

We have studied the laser oscillation output in a ring cavity when the oscillation frequency resonated with the medium frequency. The dynamics of the system is described by Here I(t) and W(t) are the normalized intensity and population difference, respectively, α is the gain coefficient, and the parameters Q and Γ = −InR characterize the losses in the cavity.
