Rigidity-based approach to structure from motion

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

The problem of determining structure and motion of objects in space from images is currently a topic of major interest in computer vision. Many useful applications are giving much impetus to research in this area. For example, a challenging application is the realization of a robot with autonomy of navigation. Moreover, a computational theory of vision is of interest in the study of the human visual system.
