Absorption and refractive index of one wave changed by irradiating with another laser beam of different wavelength in Ce-SBN crystal

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

By measuring the absorption we have found that the 6328-Å (10-mW/mm) laser beam can cause the absorptance of the Ce-SBN crystal to decrease ~20 %, but for the 6328-Å light there is almost no change in the absorption.
