Abstract

In earlier work1,2 we enabled rotation and scaleinvariant pattern recognition of images by using circular harmonic functions for rotation-invariance and Mellin transforms for scale invariance. More recently,3 we applied these results to the recognition of 3-D objects from a series of 2-D images. We review this method.
