Abstract
Studies of Rayleigh matches and heterochromatic flicker photometry (HFP) have noted a small but significant correlation. An observer who is red-sensitive to HFP is likely to show a red-shifted Rayleigh match. Furthermore, Lutze1 demonstrated that major gene activity accounts for interobserver variability in both Rayleigh matches and heterochromatic modulation photometry (HMP).
