Coherent multichannel amplification in a GaAIAs traveling wave amplifier

Abstract

We have demonstrated multichannel coherent emission from an integrated GaAIAs traveling wave amplifier. For less than one milliwatt of coherent power coupled into the input waveguide, we obtained mutually coherent output powers of between 40 mW and 96 mW from eight of ten outpút channels, simultaneously.
