Abstract
Theoretical deviation shows that a superconductor surface has (1) a total reflection for EM radiation, and (2) an evanescence layer without loss. Both properties are promising for waveguiding high density of radiation flux. High Tc superconductor materials have demonstrated diminishing absorption in the far infrared1 and in the millimeter wave2 experiments. Methods for constructing and testing the superconductor-coated waveguides are proposed. It is believed that for both data and power transmission, waveguiding in a superconducting conduit offers a safe, secure, and EM-interference-free method over a single core wire and deserves our attention.
