Sensitivity to Gabor patches modulated in color directions

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

We have measured sensitivity using stimuli that vary in both their spatial and spectral structure. Our stimuli are Gabor patches whose tristimulus coordinates modulate across spatial position. We restrict the col or modulation to be along a line of color space and to pass through the tristimulus coordinates of the fixed, neutral, adapting background.
