Simulation of random Gaussian errors in interferogram fringes

Abstract

For a fringe pattern interferogram with only tilt, we did a computer simulation to evaluate the wavefront aberrations, considering mainly two aspects: to assume that the positions of the fringes have random Gaussian errors, the proper selection of the order of the fitted polynomy.
