Abstract
Laser-induced fluorescence is an attractive technique for nonintrusive velocity measurements in supersonic reacting flow research where other optically based techniques are unfeasible. Fluorescence-based velocity measurements have been demonstrated in cold, nonreacting compressible flows by means of molecules seeded into the flow.1,2
