Abstract

In this paper, the authors have investigated the influences of laser plasma, and thermal lens of optical components on CO2 laser welding properties. And pulsed CO2 laser beam welding have been studied in order to reduce these influences on laser welding.

On the basis of these results, we applied CO2 laser welding to the parts in the nuclear power plants.
