Triple correlation for pattern recognition

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to combine two valuable concepts: triple correlation and matched filtering. Triple correlation analysis is a method for restoring the quality of a disturbed signal or image. Matched filtering is useful for detecting the presence of a specific pattern within an environment of other patterns or noise.
