Abstract
Pulses from femtosecond oscillators such as a CPM benefit from amplification, as this produces the high peak powers necessary for many non-linear optical experiments. We report here high energy, multi kHz, amplification of 75-fs pulses at 620 nm from a CPM, using as a pump source a compact solid-state laser, a Q-switched diode-pumped frequency doubled Nd:YLF laser.
